Access Democracy

mission

our mission

Access Democracy fights for the right — and the ability — to vote, so that every eligible American can cast a ballot that counts.

The challenges voters face when they go to vote — like long lines and broken voting machines — block access to the ballot for millions of Americans, especially communities of color. But these problems are solvable

We bring data-driven organizing and advocacy to the local level, where elections are run, working to expand and protect access to the ballot.

How elections are run blocks millions from voting:

State Programs

In our three pilot states of Wisconsin, Florida, and Pennsylvania, we're identifying -- and solving -- local election administration problems that stand between voters and the ballot. To read more about our pilot programs, visit our state programs page.
